it's a stupid contract offer from the Nets, but it looks genius as fukk if he accepted it.

They're naive in offering it and Kyrie is naive for thinking after everything he's done that BK was gonna negotiate a sweetheart deal for him.
Giving a dude a max and saying in the final year, it’s not guaranteed unless we win a title isn’t absurd from their perspective. Kyrie just had the whole nba tell him last season they don’t think he’s worth a guaranteed 4 years. This is his way of forcing that deal because a team just traded picks for him. I don’t think anyone should feel bad for him. I want him gone anyway though.

Only 15 percent of the LAST YEAR would not be guaranteed which is the most the CBA allows for incentives. And Jrue Holiday has the same clause. You guys be caping for this nut.
Jrue a fool for taking that as well. Imagine on losing out of 15% of your salary because of your coworkers.

So why does Jrue Holiday have that? So why did Chris Paul sign a non guaranteed final year? Why did Embiid and AD take less than the full max? I can go on and on. You guys really are falling for this a$$hole’s PR. He had the option of playing out the year and waiting until the end but he wanted his money now because he knows teams can’t offer that at the end of the year without the Nets helping. The Lakers can’t offer him this money after the LeBron extension and likely Rui extension. This is a Nîgga without many options trying to get some leverage. The Nets don’t have any reason to trade him unless they get a great package.

Who says you lose it? You honestly think that a contending Nets team wouldn’t pay him his full salary? If the Nets win the title at any point in the 3 years before that it’s automatically guaranteed. And Jrue got his money because they won so :manny:.

And if they’re not a contender and he got traded, whoever trades for him would guarantee that year in a short extension. It’s not crazy at all giving his current reputation. You nikkas talking about him like he didn’t want into this year saying he was humbled by how much the league didn’t want him. Dude has behaved for 2 months.

AND 3 years matches up with KD’s deal so you’re basically mad about the team saying the last year you’re guaranteed 34/40.

Yes it is. He is an all-nba level player, those players don't take Incentives, stipulations, or any other bullshyt clause. This is a player's league, the owners just cash the checks. The idea of "negotiations" with an all-nba player died years ago. They get the max by default.

Kyrie couldn't take playing with just Ben Simmons. Remember when he told him to shoot it :damn:

On another note, I was looking at some older threads and saw @Gil Scott-Heroin and @Squirrel from Meteor Man have been going at it for years :skip:. The Coli version of Tommy and Cole. Yall need to start a Podcast or something.

You continue to use the all nba tag for him while neglecting everything that brings reticence to a team wanting him

That's like asking why wouldnt a team max out dennis rodman
