They flipped Isaiah Thomas’s expiring contract to the Lakers for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr because they wanted to get out Jordan Clarkson’s contract so they could have two max slots to convince Lebron to come over. They flipped Jae Crowder in a three team trade for George Hill and Rodney Hood. Rehab the value of Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr and George Hill got a first round for each of them. They used the first round pick, they got from the Bucks in the George Hill Trade for Jarrett Allen. They traded Larry Nance Jr to the Blazers in a three team that got them Lauri Markkanen. The Nets first round pick turned out to be Collin Sexton. Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton are the reason the Cavs got Donovan Mitchell.
