People will spend pages discussing kyrie but this is on the NETS garbage ass FO. They were the #1 east a few weeks ago and decide NOW is the time to play hardball.
Gtfoh

We not doing that whole ‘support everything black…low key Kyrie is a martyr’ shyt. He can hate the front office, fine. Then leave as a fee agent. He’s a dumbass for requesting a trade as a pending free agent. That only happens with vets on tanking teams. For him to do it when they were possibly best in the league when healthy is straight bizarre.

Now if KD is secretly out for the year and Kyrie found that out, ok that would make sense. He wants to play for a title this year. Otherwise, it’s yet another sign that this dude has a shocking indiffecme of winning a title. Leaving bron and KD. He’s a weirdo. This ain’t on the front office, bc this random ass trade request is a sign of exactly why you ain’t trippin to sign this dude.

I mean what are they supposed to just give him everything he wants and lock him into a long term deal. If he wants out so bad but just wanted a max deal just goes to show that if they did give him that deal he would just be on more Bs.
When lesser unproven players getting bags an offer like this is disrespectful

This derailed the Lakers' whole season last time LA/LeBron/Klutch tried to snake a superstar in the middle of a season

Keep in mind for BK it’s not pay him or lose him for nothing. There’s only a handful of teams with cap space to sign him outright. So if Kyrie wanna to go somewhere legit, it’d have to be a sign and trade and BK would get some type of value. So they can afford to play hardball.

And this bizzaro world trade request is exactly why you don’t rush to pay him. He’s a weirdo. Like nah we’re not gonna pay you, call our bluff and sign with Orlando

If Kyrie gets traded and burns bridges with the Lakers, he's not getting a max from anyone. He'd be relegated to year-to-year deals going forward. He's not going to risk that.
To be fair he might already be out of the league. The second he isn’t all star good he is gone to China on some Marbury shyt.
