To be honest though, this I think the Nets won this trade. Kyrie won't get Luka and the Mavs to that "serious contender" level.

It is. Nets were a championship contender. Now they have a core of a 6’10 cowardly Lion and an aging malcontent, both who are injury prone. Dallas has no depth. Shallow af in the front court, which was always an issue but even more glaring now. Plus gotta worry about how Luka and Kyrie co exist. Kyrie not signing no extension in red state Texas either.
