Republicans literally stole a Supreme Court pick from Obama because he was black and RBG refused to step down because she didn't want a black man choosing her replacement.

Democrats refuse to stop fence sitting in the middle and Republicans aren't playing fair, maybe now they'll wake up and stop trying to "reach across the aisle".

People on this forum say holding your vote will make folks attention to you, what you get in the meanwhile is federal judges installed by republicans like this that will make virtually any gains for black people impossible, this supreme court will strike down any sort of reparations or bill advancing black peoples rights, the courts quickly struck down that paired down bill biden had for black farmers, people dont understand how deep this goes.
This judges are there for life, the next 10,20,30,40 years, this are the consequences , let folks be cleared eye about it

Yep, the "Don't vote" argument only works in a vacuum. It assumes there's this completely.made up situation where just because we aren't voting for anything even tangentially in our interest, other people are doing the exact same. These dumb fukks will go out and blindly vote for just about anyone with an R next to their name, as long as they entertain their fantasies of getting things back to the way they "used to be"

Little bit of both. The conservative portion of the court has essentially been waiting for the proper legal challenge to come along when they had a majority to make this move. This isn't something that just came together in the last couple of years. This has been a targeted goal of the more conservative members of government for decades.
