Really? Imma read that but essentially, is it the same as depressurization but being in the sub just accelerates it or was that case different?

But it's kinda similar to that. I imagine if you got sucked through a 60 centimeter hole would be instantaneous but it seems like that split second would be unimaginable pain

They're dead. The sub wasn't designed to dive that far down, the company knew that but capitalism let them ignore safety for the sake of profit.

They likely dived too low and all of their lungs collapsed instantly.
It’s pretty much just like the Titanic. They sank because they were going too fast, so they could show up in New York a day ahead of schedule to show off. They couldn’t turn or stop in time when they spotted the iceberg. They used cheap steel. Plus, they didn’t have enough boats to accommodate all the passengers and crew, because they didn’t want the deck to look cluttered.
