Why can't their be symbolism behind the action - not just tail tucking?

And not sure what you're getting at with the second...I want unity for and justice for black folks, I don't care about making white people mad, what does that accomplish?
It Always seems people on this board want that more than anything, if you can't "make cacs mad" than you're scared or tail tucking.

Overall, there's a black man who's being blackballed from a league for not standing for the anthem, in this same climate, an ENTIRE team, (staff, players, etc) are choosing to not show up at all.

That's more than enough.

Hell
There's no optics to staying in the locker that compares to the viral nature of kneeling in front millions on the sidelines

Only a boycott with work anything reminsent of church is a automatic fail.

All that social shyt is for the birds money talks. Take away the money and watch the attitude change.

Not being obtuse. I'm being honest about being conflicted. If you have some intelligent points to make I'd appreciate it, if not then you can keep it moving.
The two have nothing to do with one another. You're not watching because the NFL has made it clear they don't care to support back players speaking out on black injustice, racists aren't watching because these men are speaking out. One is an actual problem that hasn't been addressed, the other is a group of ignorant fukks who empower the police brutality and white supremacy pretending to be offended that some of these men are actually opposed to their opression. Nothing about your stance aligns with theirs

Maybe for you it is...the reason given made it not enough for me.

Will the NFL concede to the angry cacs and make a rule that players have to stand for the anthem, or will they be the first sports league to remove the anthem from pre game activities? :ohhh:

Do they have any other alternatives at this point:yeshrug:
Isn't the NFL still pocketing money from the military though? I mean, that's the whole point of having the players on the field for the anthem in the first place.

Would have been more powerful if they took the knee instead he avoids the situation by keeping them indoors.

Kap didn’t stay in the locker room.
Tomlin can't make the whole team take a knee breh.
