Teams need to show that their is a just cause behind the players who are kneeling. Their response needs to be one that says we respect their ability to do so and they are not "sons of bytches". No one is saying jump on board with their cause, but show some backbone - the black men shouldn't just be degraded by the president of the US and your response is let's all hide.

This Kaep thing is more than just about optics tho. Besides, the optics of him coming out after the anthem when it's known that he stayed inside in protest would've been just as powerful as him taking a knee.

Personally, I don't think it's the sight of seeing blacks take a knee that white racists has a problem with. They have a problem with blacks protesting what they feel should remain the status quo which is systematic white supremacy.
