At the expense of a nation's right to choose what international organizations to join?

cmon with this goofy shyt
what did the U.S do to Cuba and Venezuela when they formed certain alliances :dead:
Only the U.S and their allies get to do what's in their best interest :unimpressed:. Yall got it :hubie:

I understand the perspectives here going be U.S-centric developed under the influence of U.S media but at least try to view shyt objectively re: Russia and China. It's really no good guys here, they all are imperialist pos. My OP was really just about a scenario where all of this could been avoided

I'm not defending US intervention in South and Central America, that shyt is fukked up and hopefully stops.

But back to the matter at hand...

Sigh..which is why an external cartel is able to rock our "energy independent" nation to their beat when they feel like cutting or rising output? That's why Biden flew hat in hand to the Saudis this summer? Oh, no..he went half way cross the world for the fukk of it, yes?

You need to remember that Trump sabotaged the ability for US shale producers to be profitable as a favor to the Saudis, who kept the oil spigot wide open in return, not too long after he got into office. We haven't been producing nowhere on the level we were going back to when Obama was in office.

The U.S. exports more than it imports, what else is there to say other than the U.S. is energy independent? So what, the U.S. is not immune to price fluctuation on the global market. No nation is. Your point is moot. Biden going to the Saudis was more on behalf of Europe's needs. By default that becomes our needs in the current and previous environment.

Anything else?
