Man, I've said before that the company I work at has quite a number of Russian employees (plenty of people from around world really).

Got word today a few Russian cats that live there were called to the draft. Some are from small towns and others from major cities. They're STEM-educated so it doesn't seem like they're only trying to get people w/o education.

Edit: our company is trying to see if we can get them pardoned or if there's something we can do. They cool people too.
