It’s wild….i didn’t realize how much of an impact the Rich Gang era had on me until now. I been playing more music from that timespan than anything else lately. I consider the music Thug and RHQ made together to be special and timeless. It’s almost like it didn’t happened. You had to be there in the moment to realize what was going on.

The Tour Vol.1 made me a fan of those nikkas. That mixtape was getting blasted EVERYWHERE in the streets/clubs. It was the soundtrack to my partying/turn up days. It was the shyt me and my homies played when we go out and get on hoes.

RHQ is only 1 year older than me. I always related to him because he wasn’t on no street/tough guy shyt, just a regular nikka from the hood that just wanted to turn up, fukk hoes and be successful.

Sad thing is…he never truly got his flowers for the impact and influence he had.

Really too many rappers that are dying.
The stats must be crazy compared to random people and I’m not talking about those who are gang bangers first.

Bro is a legend just for commercializing the phrase type of way, rip
