I can live anywhere and make it a home to tell you the truth...I grew up right next to Nickerson Gardens so I done seen it all it this point

But my girl is Mexican and grew up in an upper middle class neighborhood in Palmdale and won't have no parts of anything that aint modern/fancy

I agree if we wanna get married and have kids we prolly shouldn't raise em on Spruce St. but I'd much rather start off buying a house in the hood and working my way up from there than spending 2300 a month on rent

There's a few newer developments in Hawthorne ya'll should check out. Its not as sexy as saying you live in a westside neigborhood but its new and cheaper. Talk to your girl. If ya'll good money wise then do your thing but if not don't break yourself just to claim a westside area like a lot of these white folks out here do

Prices anywhere on the Westside are ridiculous.

We were looking to buy a house in SM and the best we found were 2 bed 1 bath 800 sq ft condos for 5 to 600.

I know it's a city breh, I grew up in Inglewood...but it's LA. Beverly Hills and Culver City have their own PD and School district....it's still LA.

I'm was born and raised on the westside (6th ave and slauson) but man once my fam moved in florida before the housing boom we lost about 200,000 in value . I can only imagine how much houses are going for out there now
