Thank god I moved outta Inglewood a couple years ago because that traffic would've fukked up my life :mjcry:

Your family out in LA own their homes?

@marcuz
Does this new stadium mean that Compton is next for gentrification?

Yeah all my family own their homes...My parents is in Inglewood close to the airport so they won't be affected. I used to live in Inglewood near the Forum but I moved to Playa Vista with my girl and all the hipsters back in 2014:francis:

We got a nice apartment with rent up the ass and prolly should just buy a house but thats a completely different conversation :leostare:

I'm originally from Watts but lived in Inglewood for about 8 years so its still like home to me :yeshrug:

:damn:
So all the black folks bout to be in Vegas/The IE :mjcry:
Compton might get a few new stores or apartments here and there but whites and hipsters ain't going down there to live :what: they're not seeing "that type of gentrification". The only reason Inglewood could be facing gentrification is because its centrally located, down the street from LAX, the beach is a two miles away, and perfect freeway access, and the new stadium. Compton has none of that. For gentrification to take place where whites, millennials, and hipsters want in- the place has to have something they desire. The areas I'm worried about are Bladwin Hills which have epic views of the city and Leimert Park. They better stay away from those areas:damn:

Prices anywhere on the Westside are ridiculous.

We were looking to buy a house in SM and the best we found were 2 bed 1 bath 800 sq ft condos for 5 to 600.

It don't make no damn sense bro :snoop:

I can live anywhere and make it a home to tell you the truth...I grew up right next to Nickerson Gardens so I done seen it all it this point :demonic:

But my girl is Mexican and grew up in an upper middle class neighborhood in Palmdale and won't have no parts of anything that aint modern/fancy :francis:

I agree if we wanna get married and have kids we prolly shouldn't raise em on Spruce St. but I'd much rather start off buying a house in the hood and working my way up from there than spending 2300 a month on rent :mjcry:
