Yup and at the end of the day those wrestling journalists aren't there to be CNN/NBC News. They are representing their own kayfabe/wrasslin' revenue for their direct website. They're not going to want to lose that access/exposure at these press conferences... even over something as big as this Vince story. As eventually it will go away.
