This company was Vince’s LIFE. This is ALL he knew and ALL he had going for him. He was never going to give the keys to the kingdom to Shane, Steph, or even Hunter. Even if he knew they would do better jobs than him. His ego wouldn’t allow someone to do things better then him.
In his final years as the boss, he was creatively running the company into the ground. Sure the company was making a shyt load of money. But within the structure it was still the same and Vinny Mac was too stubborn to change. It got so bad to the point that people within his inner circle came up with a plan to push him out.
Then out of spite he pushed himself back in with the excuse that he wanted to sale the company. But in reality he was looking for a suitor that would allow him to be back in power.
Then Ari Emmanuel comes in, strokes his ego, and he feels his plan worked. Thats why he came rolling into the Raw after WM running shyt again cause he felt he was back back.
But Ari told Nick Khan and Hunter
Vince got played something serious. And now for the rest of his days he has to stay on the sidelines and watch the company prosper without him.
Sure he is gonna get paid. But he isn’t gonna enjoy it.
