WWE won the 12-34 Male demo. Younger demo would seem like a bigger win.
In advertising that market is seen as not having the same amount of buying power as 18-49 because of that 12-17 portion who are still beholden to their parents buying shyt for them.

So that's still 18-49 year olds buying stuff. All this demo talk is honestly stupid.

Its always existed though, even outside of Wrestling and in Wrestling when the Monday Night Wars were going on mainsteam publications would mostly point to that for how popular it was with young folks

That said I do think its a dated model given that demo increasingly doesnt watch live TV unless its sport

Also keep in mind that Rampage is not available in Canada yet, while SD plays on one of our national sports channels.

You can downplay it all day if you want but its still an important metric. Neither demo is bad but the idea is that WWE would be doing better for some reason. I do wonder what targets they have for this metric and what the networks consider good and bad numbers

Ratings talk will never not be :russell: to me. Let's make it a thing when TV networks begin new negotiations with these promotions, at least by that time it would have a legit purpose.

Going over fukking demos, total viewership or how many homes a channels get to is fukking stupid. The TV networks are happy with their wrestling, we'll see HOW happy in a few years but anything else is just annoying noise that fuels the worst type of stan wars :camby:

I keep saying it but it's this desperation for there to be another Monday Night War, mostly from people who didn't even experience it in the first place.

And 99% of people who lived through the late 90s wrestling boom didn't give a fukk about the ratings or were trying to breakdown demos/quarterlys and all that bullshyt.

This shyt is meaningless. Only thing relevant is looking at long term trends but this week by week analysis is such forced, contrived bullshyt.
