If SD was on a channel that was in the same amount of homes as TNT this would be a different story and everyone knows that.

7-10 million fewer homes is not really a significant number in this case. We're talking about a wrestling audience here, these companies aren't drawing from that big of a pool.

Besides, we could easily make this argument in the opposite direction in Rampage's favor, since Fox is available in roughly 35-40 million more households than TNT.

AEW got the duke (remember, 18-49 is what networks care about, not just nerds like us. There's a reason the Nielsen reports list the demo first and overall viewership last) because WWE needlessly sabotaged themselves. It is what it is. :yeshrug:

I don't know why you guys care about how many people are watching. You can spin this shyt in AEW's favor or you can spin this shyt in WWE's favor.

The fact of the matter is, the quality of the show (for at least one company anyway) has improved so much that I can't help but make room in my schedule to watch it every week. The fact that both shows are trying to step their games up shows what's been missing the last 20 years.

Obsessive ratings talk is why there will never be another wrestling boom. When Meltzer talks about key demos he sounds like a nerdy :old: trying to be cool with the general public.

Most of the world has moved on from Neilson numbers with the many different ways to consume t.v. This shyt was outdated years ago.

:mjlol: WWE should just do their own thing and stop trying to go head to head with AEW. When they win nobody gives a fukk, it's expected. When they lose (even the demo), it's a horrible look for them. People keep acting like it's AEW being preoccupied with WWE, yet Vince has gone out of his way to counterprogram AEW multiple times now and it's done nothing to dent the popularity of AEW, which is an L itself, let alone taking actual head to head Ls.
