What clutch? In the first SB Bruce had about 50 yds of YAC on that pass he took to the house. The refs bailed him out in the second. Fitz had mad YAC on the go ahead drive in the 3rd one. Warner rode some great offenses to some nice runs and had his share of luck. Like I said before the nikka disappeared for like 5 years in between the great offenses. He'd be nobody if he spent his career with the offenses McNabb had for the most part.

:heh: at you trying to hate on and diminish Warner for throwing the game winning TD in the SB(also one of the GOAT SB performances) 415 Yards/2 TD's No picks

He had great offenses but he dominated and especially in the postseason

3,952 Yards, 66%,31 TD's,14 picks, 102.8 Rating, 9–4 record

^^^ Thats why he's considered clutch, because he's one of the best playoff performers in history.

nikka said what clutch, Get the fukk outta here:laff::laff::laff:

The biggest plays were YAC plays that's not diminishing it is what it is. There is nothing clutch about passing the ball to an open reciever and watching him go to the house. :ld:

How dominant was he from 2002-2008? How the fukk do you just disappear for 5 years? Where was all that clutch and dominance when he didn't have the great offenses? Meanwhile Donovan carried offenses for the majority of his career and put on some great one man shows in the playoffs. His 200 yds passing, 100 yd rushing game against GB was the most amazing display of one man carrying a team I have ever seen.

McNabb has constantly gotten shytted on by the fans and the media his whole career. It's like he's been the whipping boy for the NFL his whole career. Not making it a racial thing but you don't see QB's like Philip Rivers getting criticized for not winning the big one. It's a damn shame when they finally got that man some receivers they decided to part ways with him.

Ya'lls favorite player is some fool like Rison, or Irwin, or Keyshawn or whatever clown. Don McNabb lead his life with class, Vick wishes he could have made the right decisions like McNabb did, TO, you saw him cry on Doctor Phil.

It's funny the same people going at Don are the first to call other people on this board c00ns or sellouts or whatnot.

Bruh,

It's hillario to me how McNabb gets shytted on yet Elway is heralded as the greatest QB ever. McNabb is Elway without the two gifted rings.

I agree I think McNabb can still play, unfortunately Mike Shanahan blackballed this dude.

Good for Donovan. I'm sure he'll be good. He's smart and well spoken. Also has a personality. I been a McNabb stan since his college days. He carried teams and his race on his back and was always unfairly criticized for both. I'll always be proud of him :to:

Any Philly fan knows that McNabb was the Holy grail there from 1999-2006. After his 2007 season I wanted him gone though.

It was pretty clear that the guy just did not have "it" when Jeff Garcia made the team do a 180 and almost went to the SB. He was just fundamentally better as a passer and it showed that year.

The funniest part of the Mcnabb hate is the haters don't even realize he's one of the winningst QB's in NFL HISTORY. Only 10 QB's in NFL HISTORY Have won more TOTAL games (Regular Season + Playoffs) than Mcnabb:

TOTAL WINS IN NFL HISTORY (REGULAR SEASON + PLAYOFFS)

1 Brett Favre 186 112 0 + 13 11= 199-123
2 John Elway 148 82 1 + 14 7 = 162-89-1
3 Dan Marino 147 93 0 + 8 10 = 155-103
4 Peyton Manning 141 67 0 + 9 10 = 150-77
5 Tom Brady 124 34 0 + 16 6 = 140-40
6 Joe Montana 117 47 0 + 16 7 = 133-54
7 Fran Tarkenton 124 109 6 + 6 5 = 130-114-6
8 Johnny Unitas 118 64 4 + 6 2 = 124-66-4
9 Terry Bradshaw 107 51 0 + 14 5 =121-56
10 Jim Kelly 101 59 0 + 9 8 = 110-67
11 Donovan McNabb 98 62 1 + 9 7 =107-69-1

So people can hate all they want but only 10 QB's that ever picked up the pigskins won more games than Donovan. If you separate the stats. Regular Season Donovan is 12th All Time and Playoffs he's 11th All Time. He's also Top 20 All time in almost all major QB statistics. He did not have the WR talent that some of the great QB's got to have. He had Westbrook and Duce but he never truely had the power running game cause of Andy's style offense. Also he's in the Top 10 running QB's of all time as far as yards and TD's. Donovan career is so underrated.

He lost some Big Playoff games, sure, but so did a lot of other greats. He lost his only Superbowl to Tom Brady, if you are going to lose, lose to a Legend. He lost 4 NFC title games, yes that horrible but he made it to 5 of them. He had his team in the final 2 of the NFC for half of his career and the Final four of the NFL. Only Brady and Manning can say they won more regular season and playoff games in his era. Matter of face he has a better Playoff record than Peyton. The title game losses were bad, no way to spin it but if you look inside the numbers, he really only played bad in 2 of them (Tampa and Carolina). Against the Rams he went in their house and almost beat the greatest show on turf at home. Against Arizona he again on the road staged a huge comeback but the defense let him down stopping Warner. Overall Mcnabb was the QB over 9 Playoffs wins the most ever for an Eagles QB. Donovan made the Eagles relevant again. He's a Hall of Famer and yes if a White QB had his numbers, they wouldn't be as critized as Donovan is.

To me, the most incredible aspect of the psyche of the average Philadelphia-based Eagles fan is that he failed to win the ring, which they hold as this ultimate indictment of him. So all those numbers and statistical facts you just laid out, they disregard them like they don't matter and are irrelevant when speaking on whether he was "great" or deserving of HOF status. It's pretty wild.....

But the organization will eventually retire his jersey....it's just gonna take for some years to pass first.
