Usually when a coach gets fired after black Monday they were told to do something to keep their job that they didn't want to do. That division is stacked and he's the 4th best coach in it. Don't know what they expected him to make happen. Guys like him have to be given time to build their culture. It won't happen in one year.

Raiders are dumpster fire and feels like they have been since they lost to the Buccs in that Super Bowl over 20 years ago. Not saying Pierce could turn it around, but I also don't think they are going to get significantly better off this coaching change.

I'm all for black coaches getting a chance but man he was bad. Had no idea what to do with clock management, game flow, game stewardship(punts/kicks FGs when you should clearly go for it), never used his challenges. The best thing I can say about him is at least the players seemed to like him and play relatively hard
