Stop talking rubbish. It isnt a trend or anything new for presidents to pardon their friends, family members etc, clinton pardoned his brother, bush pardoned friends, trump pardoned his son in law father, this is the norm in politics especially towards the end of a presidential tenure

It is customary for decades for every incumbent president to invite the newly elected president to the white house, clinton invited bush, bush invited obama, obama invited trump, it is a symbolic gesture to show the smooth transition of power and respect for the peoples vote, you can strongly disagree with trump and all his policies but he won every single swing state and the popular vote and its incumbent on the sitting president to extend the goodwill gestureIf Joe and Trump are enemies like that why the hell did Joe just invite him to the white house to tour

I would argue for the good of the country it is essential that there is a smooth transition of power and that means the two administrations working together ,just because an election is won doesn't mean there aren't any more national security threats or important issues that cant afford any lapses. The transition is a huge massive operation that begins the day after the election and requires the corporation and full support of the incumbent president as well. Like i said you can campaign against your opponent in the strongest terms but at the core it is a democratic republic and the voters have chosen trump, i do not fault biden for accepting the verdict and being the bigger man and inviting trump to the white house.
