If I'm the Colts I'm not trading Minshew. AR15 is still super young and needs a mentor plus he already got banged up trying to play Christian Okoye in the RZ. I think it's highly dubious he makes it through the regular season healthy
You might be right.. but is Indy in position to win this year? If not, and you can get a quality pick for a backup QB, then I’d think they’d do it.

Edit: and if Minshew is a no go.. our next best option might actually be.. *gulp* ..

Wilson made two bad throws on Sunday along with some nice tight window throws.

Best of all, his mechanics looked much better than before.

That 3rd down throw to Wilson before tying the game wouldve been side arm skip to the dirt last season.

Weird thing about Zach….when games are close in the 4th, he has a habit of making good throws and converting 3rd downs. :dahell:

They definitely need a backup that can play. They don't trust Wilson to throw the ball plus he ain't exactly Mr. Durable. It wouldn't surprise me if they called Blake Bortles... he's only 31 and has experience with Hackett as an OC.

I mean, Saleh basically laid it bare, they're gonna run the ball a bunch with Hall/Cook/Carter, play good defense, get some turnovers, have the QB not fukk up royally and try to win that way.
Yeah. He's going to have to run the Niners offense. Run the ball A LOT. Really no excuse not two with one of the best duos. You saw Hall break a couple. Run, run, play action. Short and intermediate passes. They possibly can make the playoffs with Wilson. Their defense is tight. But it would be better to just go ahead and get a quality QB if they can. Wilson is truly ass. But he can be that Trent Dilfer if their defense is really that good.

Yea I noticed that, specifically his footwork and pocket presence...

He's no longer happy feet dancing in the pocket...

Hopefully Rodgers keeps working with him during his recovery. He looks like a much better player, and it seems like Rodgers has been a good influence.

They were practically a playoff team with him last year, and they have a much better team this year. If he shows progression we should be better than last year

I know Rodgers wants to come back, but really he shouldn't... at least with the Jets. I doubt they will fix their Offensive Line by the time he recovers. I say this because Rodgers is all about being elusive in the pocket, spinning away and dancing. He isn't going to be 100% percent back yet by Week 1, and that line will need to seriously protect Rodgers until he's fully back... which I doubt.
