Naw, Rockstar always intended to only do Los Santos from the start cuz they felt as though it was the most neglected city design wise in GTA San Andreas.

I always felt San Fierro was the most neglected city in SA. Seemed like it lacked the same amount of detail LS and LV had.

Just goes to show how much rockstar got the whole industry by the nuts.. No sandbox game can even challenge GTAVs dominance, for a whole fukking decade

They could have just used the same engine and added another island and we would've threw our money at it, but with R*, they gonna create some shyt we didn't even know we wanted

They don't need to be challenged, people need to stop spending money on the game.

When folks was mad at EA and Battlefront 2, they didn't buy it. EA changed shyt up with the quickness, I'm talking within 1 week.

But a lot of folks will tell you "There's no other GTA" "There's no other Basketball game" instead of waiting 1 to 2 weeks to get on the devs head. Voting with your wallet is VERY effective.

GTA Online should be its own seperate franchise.

There's still millions to be made from a traditional GTA single player game. As big as online is there's so many casuals who make a GTA game one of their few purchases due to the single player.

It's not like Rockstar don't have the resources to have two teams. And we see in franchises like Final Fantasy how you can have seperate releases for single player and online.

Because single player takes time, money, and resource. They making hand over fist with MTX

simple, the completion rate for single player is is very low. they see where their engagement is.

I also don't get this idea that it's people rebuying the game. GTA online is always full of new players. perhaps even more during covid lockdown.

Rumors that GTA San Andreas is getting a remake are nothing new. Now Mach1bud joined the debate, claiming that a GTA San Andreas remake is indeed coming. When, you ask?


That’s not it though: GTA San Andreas is not the only game getting the 4K polish 'soon'. No, no, no. According to Mach1bud, the whole OG trilogy is getting a facelift.

Now you might be saying “what does this Mach-whatever know anyway?” Well, for one, he is a legit leaker (ok, that sounds weird…), for another: Would it really surprise anyone if Rockstar is remaking GTA? Wouldn't it honestly be more of a surprise if they just never touch the iconic unofficial trilogy again?

In fact, Mach1bud is so certain, that he claims we will get more news on the GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas remake in the next 90 days.

So a while back, there was a ***** AMA that got taken down in which a GTA leaker leaked GTA information – you know, as GTA leakers do. The fact that the AMA got taken down is mighty suspicious – suspicious enough that we’re here to report on it.

In the leak, the leaker (yeah, this doesn’t get old) claimed GTA VI is targeting an October 2023 release date with a spring 2022 reveal. Apparently the game is set in Miami and has a smaller, yet more dense map than Red Dead Redemption 2.

Speaking of RDR 2, this leaker also claims that Red Dead Redemption 1 is getting a remake as well, and it’ll release before GTA VI.

Yeah I'm skeptical of this rumor. Although this rumor would explain why Rockstar hasn't released many games since 2013.
