The Middleton contract is killing them. In addition to defensive pieces they lost. Middleton was giving them KD Light on their championship run. Without him playing lights out they look average at best.

I actually got to see them live yesterday and both he and Giannis look like they are going through the motions. It’s an early season game in Brooklyn, but neither of them ever really seemed to be trying to take the game over and then the game was over and they had loss.

They have zero chemistry.

You can see it whenever they try to do a two man game, Giannis doesn't set good screens at all for him, and everything is just disjointed.

When Dame came out and said he and Giannis hadn't practiced together all summer, I knew the Bucks were gonna be ass.

Their record would be the same with Jrue on the team instead of dame. Lets not kid ourselves on that.

Looking at their schedule, they might start the season 3-7 or 4-6 if they are lucky.

This is not a good team, its an old aging squad whose best days are behind them. Lopez is just as done as middleton

It's weird and a bit disingenuous that posters are trying to pretend otherwise especially considering that Jrue is the same age as Dame.

The GM doesn't get enough blame for how shyt of a job he's done at building a supporting cast around this team. He knew it too, which is why he tried dipping out to Detroit before the Bucks blocked it.

I wonder if they even spoke one word to each other over the summer let alone practicing together.

Jrue is extremely overrated on this board. If you put jrue on the worst team in nba, the chances are they would still be the worst team in nba.

He was the perfect fit as a 4th or 5th option on the Celtics. The system and his role fits perfectly with them.

I remember Bucks fans wanting Jrue gone asap after his playoff meltdowns

Posters on this site were doing the exact same thing. The Bucks were asking him the be their 2nd best player on offense during the playoffs and that's just something he wasn't built to do. The Boston situation is perfect for him.
