Their record would be the same with Jrue on the team instead of dame. Lets not kid ourselves on that.

Looking at their schedule, they might start the season 3-7 or 4-6 if they are lucky.

This is not a good team, its an old aging squad whose best days are behind them. Lopez is just as done as middleton

Interesting you say that, because Adrian Griffin had designed his defense around Jrue Holiday as the point of attack defender. The last minute Dame-Jrue trade close to training camp last year spelled doom for Griffin because that type of defense was a terrible fit for Dame. And the Bucks players protested like bytches to change the defense back to what Coach Bud was doing

And they still went 30-13 with Griffin. So no, the Bucks would actually still be a good team if Jrue and Griffin were still on the team
But yes you are right they still would be the same team now with Doc Rivers though :dead:

ASK GIANNIS....

FOR STARTERS ADRIAN GRIFFIN
STOPPED ALLOWING THE TEAM
TO PLAY THAT DROP COVERAGE DEFENSE
AND THEY WERE AGAINST IT EVEN
THOUGH THEY WERE WINNING.

DOC COMES IN AND THE DROP
COVERAGE DEFENSE COMES BACK

GIANNIS THOUGHT ADRIAN
WAS GONNA BE HIS PUPPET
BUT HE WAS PUTTING HIS FOOT DOWN
AND GIANNIS GOT HIM OUTTA THERE.

DOC PLAYING PUPPET, THEYVE BEEN
LOSING EVER SINCE AND NOW
GIANNIS THREATENING TO LEAVE.

HES A WHOLE CLOWN.

Every team Doc Rivers goes to coach he plays a puppet for star players. That's why we keep hearing how certain NBA team leaders want Rivers on their team. Cause he is that kind of teacher who lets his students do whatever they want in their class.

This has to be the last coaching gig for Rivers when he gets fired this season, but some sucker ass team might entertain the idea unless he finally retires from coaching.

If he asks out then he's gone. These franchises can hold out for a few months but history tells us if a star asks out, they're getting moved eventually.

Now whether Giannis does, remains to be seen but this team is clearly going nowhere.
the 2nd apron is gonna test that theory big time. Knicks had to go through so many avenues just to get Towns. It's just super difficult.

So basically nobody won this trade. Bucks got worse, Portland got worse. Suns didn't improve at all and wasted 70 million on Grayson Allen.
