After 78 games, they are what they are. They aren't going to magically flip a switch in the playoffs. What's worse is that I don't think they beat any of their first round potential matchups. Pacers match up really well with them and they don't wanna see the Heat nor the Sixers.
All teams that have had their own issues. The reason they together right now is Jimmy flipping that very switch. In any series they can have the best 2 players on the floor. Them dudes gotta bring that shyt.
Problem is that if you've watched the Bucks even a little, Dame and Giannis really don't play well together. Asking them to 'figure it out' during the playoffs is asking a lot. Not to mention they completely nuked their defense trading away Jrue.
Thats the reason they are there though. They have fallen short in the regular season. The only way for them to not be an all time supreme bust is flipping that proverbial switch in a week.
That‘s what happens when you have an aging roster around your superstar player and no young guys on the roster to help fill the void. Would have been in the same boat even if the Dame trade never happened.
