I know you want to be a homer and ride with Jimmy but I don't understand the point you're trying to argue. As much as this has become a social media thing in recent years, the culture simply refers to their ethos, the way they practice, the way that they work. It's been the same standard on their championship contending teams as it has been on their non-playoff teams, and it didn't start with Wade or Shaq.

The winning made it. You cant walk around talking bout "culture" with no hardware. Imagine the Magic or the Grizzlies talking about culture. It would be a joke, no matter what kinda culture they actually had.
So if I was using football as an example, you would say Dan Campbell has not changed the culture of the Detroit Lions - in fact, they don't have a culture period because they dont have any hardware (yet) right? I want to make sure I'm following this correctly.
You're hung up on a word. The Grizzlies were known for years for what? Grit n Grind, that was their identity, their culture. It didn't have to be validated by a championship.
