I feel like if this didn’t involve Pat Riley no one would really be on Jimmys side with this. Dude has issues with every team, and it’s not like he’s getting unfairly compensated. His only saving grace is that Pat Riley is even more hated.
That's only if you have to believe that basketball isn't a team sport.
As the usual ESPN-hot take generation love to do, they even do it with football with their 50 man squads and 15 man coaching staff.
One can be a much needed, invaluable piece without carrying something. Like if you remove a screw from a car it might break down, but does that always mean that the screw is worth half the team?
Jimmy is the only 19-6-6-ppg player with stans saying "he carried the team".
Like the bar used to be cats like MJ, Magic to Kobe, Duncan to Lebron, Steph to Giannis, Jokic etc. that is carrying. You dudes are merely saying that the most important player is carrying. Even worse is that you are saying this about a team with 2 all-star players with similar accolades despite one being a nearly a decade younger
The problem is also that he can't threaten to have Miami walk away with nothing because there aren't teams with the kind of cap space that will be ready to spend it on him, so the trade is his only way towards his goal.
If asterisk playoffs -- yes, what else was there to do.Did you actually watch the playoffs? Be honest
Dude annoys the hell outta meJimmy Butler has been dissatisfied on every team he's be on in the NBA.
At this point it's fair to call him a clubhouse cancer, no matter how well he plays sometimes.
That first year Jimmy bumpCan’t wait to see Jimmy carry his next team to the finals the same way he did in Chicago, Philly, and Minnesota
There's a reason he ain't getting a max extension from us
