Mikal is easily an 18-20+ ppg bucket on most nights.
Everybody thinks OG is gone but maybe he'll resign on a discount depending on his desire to be in a winning atmosphere which I think he seemed to enjoy playing in the Big Apple.

He definitely should come back next season if he's smart. He will realize he won't even have to play OD minutes with this amount of roster depth. So he do his thing and relax... and win a ring at the same damn time
Not the best player they could have hypothetically gotten but absolutely the best roster fit they could have made without drastically changing the identity of this team. The only other player of his ilk in this league is OG (highest level 3&D with size) and they’re about resign him too.The point is the opportunity cost of using those picks on Mikal. This is the Knicks' all in trade. The question isn't will Bridges be better than any of those draft picks, it's is Bridges the best possible player they could've got for all those picks?
I'm not even necessarily saying it isn't the best use of those picks, as there's a lot to like about this trade, but i'm not quite sure it's a totally transformative blockbuster trade that immediately takes a team to the next level. Which is what that kind of pick haul usually results in. But maybe the Knicks don't need that much more to get better, i dunno
