I think it's easy to point to the U.S. as especially propagandized (and don't get me wrong, it is), but if you took all media away today, the U.S. would still act the way it does because of its citizens' belief in what is a truly absurd national mythology.

Which is one of the main reasons why I feel Americans are far more propagandized than most. The American mythology of rugged individualism belies the things that were done to make that possible. Bootstraps mentality, American exceptionalism, it gives us a particularly delusional view of the world. And we export it to other countries which accelerates much of the damage caused by conflicts, climate change, etc.

Welp...a law finally got passed to allow government (Knesset) to control judicial appointments. Not the complete sidelining of the courts they wanted back in 2023 but it was one part of it. Basically sidelines the legal community and bar association who controlled a lot of it before.

Israel has no constitution though so this is always the danger of the system they and the UK have.

Common sense would say the bad actor is the one who is largely illegal per international law, committing an ongoing genocide, and who is illegally invading multiple neighbouring countries . You colonial cacs are fried beyond belief
