yeah ive thought about this a lot before. they dont really have an incentive to negotiate other than protecting their citizens and preventing violence against them. historically they have valued that less than keeping their territory.Breh who here trust Israel in a trade when they have all the cards. but they have a lot of internal problems. their population is growing more and more orthodox and the orthodox jews are often completely resistant to serving in the military. eventually they will get to the point where they can’t draft enough people to meet their security needs, especially when they have to maintain their occupation. they have a declining economy, and they have significant brain drain. they have a constitutional crisis brewing about drafting the orthodox jews. eventually having to deal with all of these problems in a state of international isolation will be a huge headache. they are going to have to resolve the occupation somehow
