I've come to the conclusion that the reason why former colonial nations have an irrational support Israel is BECAUSE of antisemitism. Nazi Germany didn't invent eugenics(it was the british) they didn't invent xenophobia(its been going on since the Egyptians at least) they didn't invent colonialism(as far as the Mesopotamians) they didn't invent anti Semitism (it was alive and well during the middle ages and Renaissance) they didn't invent concentration camps(you can thank the British for that too).
The reason that they were considered uniquely dangerous is because they saw themselves as the new romans who would unify Europe under a new empire and would end the "problem" of Jewish existence by simply using all the things I mentioned above to eliminate them forever. WWII had nothing to do with protecting ethnic and racial minorities. Antisemitism was alive and well. The territories that were lost to Germany had their citizens eagerly giving up anyone they suspected of being Jewish to the nazis.
The nazis did not complete their genocide, and there were still millions of jews left. The Victors of WWII instead realized that rather than killing jews what they could do is put them all in one country and encourage the ones that are left to leave and go there. Israel would be the TRUE solution to the "Jewish question". By turning it into a warehouse for the "undesirable" people that they've hated for hundreds of years and done several progroms against, they could finally have an absolute minimum of jews in their country if not completely eliminate them altogether.
If something like a two state solution is put in, the Israelis living in what would be the new Palestine would immediately start trying to leave, just like the white people when African and Asian countries were declaring independence. We are talking MILLIONS of jews leaving Israel. If you're a people that still hates jews, this is the worst case scenario for you. Biden and the average AIPAC money recipient could not ask for a better deal. A lobby is PAYING YOU to be anti Semitic and see jews as people who don't belong anywhere else but Israel and to make it as easy as possible to export them into Israel. You're literally being rewarded for your intolerance. When you see it that way, it makes perfect sense that these countries with a long history of hating jews wants them to all go somewhere and stay there.

Honestly, I don't think it's even that complicated.
IMO it's more to do with white supremacy than anything. At some point they started to view Jewish people as white and so they see Zionists as allies. Basically they view Israel as the only "civilized" nation in the region and everyone else as savages.
