kids should be able to eat off their star status
especially since a lot of them will never be bigger than they are in the preps
for example the crime stopper(aquille carr) should have gotten a meal from ua

a real meal not just free kicks and gear
motherfukkers get you millions on millions of eyes on your product due to mixtapes and social media
some of them are more valuable to marketing than some pro players

The NCAA is Blockbuster. They won't change until its way too late.

Calipari runs a tight ship at Kentucky. Why do you think Slice had to go to st John's, calipari did not like some of his recruiting tactics so he let him go. Believe what you want about Cal but at UK he does not fukk around and people at the athletics department have said they are an open book and they know that they're clean. The atmosphere there was described as carefree. And Cal is not in the least bit concerned. Again if everyone in here is so confident then take me up on a ban bet.

This isn’t necessarily true. Slice came here under the pretense that he would have way more say as a head coach than he did in Kentucky. He thought Mullin would rely more on him because of his lack of experience.

A couple of things happened.

-Shamorie and Slice hated each other

-Mullin favored Greg st Jean “analytics” approach to coaching. Diminishing Slice role.

:palm: We still owe that cac millions of dollars and he hasn’t coached in a year.

The NBA needs to step up and create a European style developmental system. This has gone on way too long and too many people are making money.

Get the best players out the college system.
I love the European system so hopefully it does happen

I think Syracuse was paying for players in the early 2010s. they had some weird direct pipeline with inner city philadelphia, just getting some of philly's best ballers to skip over places like Nova, Maryland, Rutgers and go up to Upstate NY and wait 1-2 seasons on the bench to start for Jim. I don't know. It's weird. That kid Rak Christmas when IG first came out was always flossing on there too. Maybe he came from a well-off family who had been buying him Gucci clothes since he was a little kid. It's innocuous in the grand scheme of things too but some funny shyt was back in 2011 or 2012 when the Jordan Concord 11s came out there was something on the news about a kid getting robbed for his pair by someone waiting on the line, then the Cuse came comes on and the team takes the court wearing the Concord 11s :russ:.

Corruption has obviously always been around something serious but I feel like the fukkery really got revised when the conferences started expanding and changing up and teams were moving all over the place. Recruiting has been the wild west since then. that was back in 2012-2013 and if the FBI still has open active investigations we're gonna see a lot more crazy ish the next couple years :ehh:

I hope Boeheim gets clipped. I know he’s dirty. These AAU coaches in New York are the worst.
