Yeah they do, the owners of the teams pay the salary of their players like any other employer.

This won't work... they make more money and have more fun doing that one year in college... plus, it would take a decade plus to build minor league system that is comparable to the NCAA platform....... and with that being said, 100s of millions would get spent trying to do it... it won't be worth it in the long run, because we don't check for minor leagues on a national level... that's a local thing....
