We just got the email over the weekend and was told by higher ups to fcck all that noise.
Back in May 2022, when Elon jumped on a Twitter All Hands meeting (shortly after he was invited to join the Board) and answered employee questions, confirmed for me that he was both an idiot and a nefarious actor. Slack channels were on fire for a week

The fact that Reagonomics has been PROVEN to be negative on our society in some of the worst ways yet we haven’t got rid of it after 40 years and even have people who are affected negatively by it go out of their way to defend it - it’s basically an indicator how dumb and tolerant this country is.

That’s why I said this country has peaked in my our lifetime already.
I’m not saying that to be anti-American either. That’s simply reality. The time it takes to undo or fix these problems, if they ever do, will take multiple terms and there’ll be a lot of resistance to it. The courts for example are packed with MAGA, many young. Democracy is really tough to point in the right direction when too many dumb people can vote like they do right now - and that number of morons grows exponentially.
As I get older it’s really a shame to realize most of my lifetime was Republican leadership when it seemed like my generation “knew better”. Gen-Z lowkey screwed us on this one.

Nobody fired (yet) but I'd estimate 70% where I'm at voted for him. Probably more than half of those are vets. And yeah they nervous, feeling and walking around looking stupid as hell but still won't admit they fukked up.

U rightMy belief is this....republicans can't openly criticize all this nonsense as they will eventually have to answer to the elephant in the room, and that's their boy trump took the money and sold out the people and is now powerless to this man musk. Even though we all know this, republicans will have to say it out loud if they go down that road of criticizing what musk is doing, and like i said in my other post, this is a colossal L that the republican party has to hold. Right now their response is to stay quiet, look away and pretend nothing is happening.

I technically report to the Department of Defense but also the USDA they both told us to not respond to anything from OPM as they are not in the chain of command and not a real government agency, therefore are not entitled to any internal information. Dude said to us literally that Elon Musk is not his boss and he's owed as much of a response as a redneck at Walmart. Also by right he should not even know my name and what department I'm in due to national security purposes.
