This isn't the topic but this is part of why when it comes to national elections, at least for people like Trump, harm reduction/prevention is a reasonable strategy. If we now get this mofo up out of here, he still changed the game to a degree that a lot of things we took for granted won't be available for us anymore. Citizens United was the checkmate and we are living the reality of unlimited dark money and PACs. Elon was offering money to people in PA and should have been jammed up on that alone. It's crazy what money can do.

Sounds like he got the numbers back from the 'fork in the road' early retirement offer, and it was something like 0.000001% of what they were looking for, and now he's stomping his feet like a spoiled brat. Some legal entity probably told him "yeah we're gonna have to pay out those retirements, and most of those who took it were already on their way out, so its looking like a W for those people." Elon probably lost it.
