You neged me before even trying to get what I'm saying, but I'm not a bytch, I can give props when i see it

Imagine if you were hip hop, you could really put that shyt together even more:youngsabo:

It aint a diss, but the way you came at me shows you are a rap music listener who doesn't get what being hip hop is really about OR you forgot as you got older.

You can try to shyt on me now!:blessed:

I’m done with lunch and have a little time to burn, so let’s go. Prove I know nothing about Hip Hop. I’m ready. Ask me about B-Boying, Writing (Graffiti), DJing or MCing.

Fif would shyt on you knowing he has "fukk you" money stashed away.

What's the point pissing everyone off and in the end you've got no funds to compete at the same level when they challenge you again.

You are doing it AGAIN!

I said the energy, not the history!

Remember when you were young, and you put shyt together that older people said "why are you doing that?" It's hard for younger peopletoday to understand so I won't even expect them to remember, but I know you remember when Sports gear was not some shyt you wore to look fly in? Now, everyone does it, but in the early to mid 80's, no one was wearing that but hip hop heads. Even something like fitted hats were just a sports thing until hip hop!

This is another example using Thirstin howl III from lo lifes. Do you know this shirt was made by putting together some silk scarfs? THAT IS HIP HOP!

I did the same thing with some cheap ass corny Hilfiger shirt my mother got me for Christmas. It had some corny looking large symbol on it, that fukked the whole shirt up, but I cut that shyt off, and rocked the shirt with proper pants, and sneakers, and had EVERYONE asking what kind of shirt it was, didn't need jewelry to look rich. My mother cursed me out when I did it, because she couldn't see what I saw, because she isn't hip hop! Do you get what I'm trying to say?

Your point has changed in each post, but I get the overall point you’re making. However, if I’m 41 and not trying to wear a fitted hat and dress like I’m still in my teens and 20s everyday, then I could understand why other men older and much more successful feel the same.

You’re not going to like this next part, but it’s the truth, too many black men are living in their second and third childhoods. Hip Hop had its run. It’s time to mature what we learned from it and channel that energy into mature and age appropriate things.

In my 20s I was a blunt smoking, baggy jeans wearing, calling women bytches and hoes, bumping Redman and Wu in the whip, player, chasing women and guzzling liquor. If 20 years later, I’m on the same shyt, then that’s not Hip Hop, that’s failure.

Thanks for the compliment on my fit. I present myself the way I want people to perceive me. I leave the guesswork out of who I am.

My point never changed, you just didn't get it because you got sensitive for no reason! This was my first post in this thread:
"because you didn't grow up when hip hop had that rebellious spirit, and went to awards dressed how they want to dress, but why aren't they being creative while still looking stylish....Instead of making the world like them, they are appeasing the world to get likes"

And you still don't get it, so its no point in going on, because if I just showed you something that a LO LIFE(street nikkas) put together that can be worn at an upscale event, why even type what you just did? Why are you equating hip hop with just the 90's when the money was gone for dealers, family members got locked up, and pain was in peoples lives, so people looked a certain way, and they still got fly, just a more street level way?

Everything you described was one time in hip hop history, it wasn't the only one. Like I said, you either weren't really hip hop or you forgot what it was before going corporate in the 90's, and lost its soul. Reading these comments really showed me how bad hip hop music has got people thinking, but it also showed me that hip hop spirit is not around anymore, at least in black people. This could be why shyt is so lame right now.

On your last comment, maybe that's why you don't get it, because I'm the total opposite. I want people to think they know me by looking at me, but when they talk to me its a totally different thing. THAT IS HOW YOU GET POWER! You fukk with peoples heads.

You know where I got that thinking? HIP HOP:sas2:

Yall are making me really appreciate that I experienced hip hop when it was real, and not a music video:mjcry:

Google it dummy.
The hell you so in your feelings for?
This was something that was very widely speculated way back when.

jay z not wanting sean paul at the baby boy video - Google Search
Hence my initial comment observing how engrossed in the rumors/gossip some of you cats are. Some of y’all take the “speculating” to levels that are irrational to me. Judging situations and relationships that you weren’t involved, a million miles away from.......judging these cats as people based on the gossip. It looks silly to me. Especially when it’s supposedly grown men.

Hip-hop is more than a lifestyle

It's a blood type
