like every other businessman

and in all truth, dame is just like lyor
If you listen to the Coli, they would be giving out Cash Money Millionaires deals to to everyone if they lead Universal, they would charge the manufacturing cost for an iPhone and all that. Dudes are Mao and Lenin when it comes to other cats money but Icahn when it's their own

People easily forget that Lyor Cohen has a job, his job is to deliver sustainable profit to his employers. At least it's just music and millionaires making music for a living who might get bad deals. Unlike FMCG, Finance, real estate, pharmaceuticals and all the shyt that effects billions of ordinary people. But somehow these musicians got us to feel as sorry for them as we do for people in refugee camps on some Fyre Festival shyt.

he doesn't do deal in the rap industry

Derek Jeter dropped out of an endorsement deal because 50 cent was involved.

HIs boxing promo company failed

Effen Vodka parted ways with him

sleek audio sued him

he might be cutting a lot of deals but outside of power most of them been duds. and like I mentioned some people even exit a situation to avoid business with him.

don't bring that curtis is a business genius talk into 2019. I bodied that shyt all last year with receipts and everything. the dude would be far better if he wasn't self destructive.
Doing business is about making the moves you feel are going to work.... so do and some dont..
But I'm sure 50cent is doing well...as a business man...
Do u agree?

Is he doing well. Yes. But as a businessman most of his ventures are bust. I listed them...

I'm happy for everyone, but what happened to the original spirit of hip hop?

All these guys look like they are trying to emulate the white guys above them with all the suits. I know lot of yall won't understand, because you didn't grow up when hip hop had that rebellious spirit, and went to awards dressed how they want to dress, but why aren't they being creative while still looking stylish.

Looking at them explains why hip hop is not what is used to be, they lost that spirit when they got money. Instead of making the world like them, they are appeasing the world to get likes. I can see Jay-Z is getting his spirit back, though, but is it too late?

You just showed you didn't grow up hip hop!

If they wanted to, they should, that is what made hip hop so popular, hip hop people did what they wanted regardless if you liked it or not. They had some money which made it even more wild! Most people with money are scared of being different, because they are sacred of losing the money because of it.

But, why can't they get Dapper Dan to make some fly shyt like he did in the 80's! You know a suit & tie is not the only way to look classy, right?

Like I said, I can see why hip hop doesn't have that spirit anymore, the people who did it sold out. When was the last time you heard any type of rebellious shyt like the 80's & 90's, even though its getting worse for the average American? You don't, and those photos explain why!

Nothing is wrong with...

Every room gotta old head that misses the "essence", when in reality, the artist they were fans of grew up and forgot to tell them to do the same.

With acts like Westside Gun, Conway & Benny still making money with gritty content. Hip-hop hasn't gone anywhere, they just not looking.
