I remember th first time I watched that episode. As much as I hate Skylar. I had to rate her when she dropped "I f*cked Ted" to Walt in the kitchen just before they ate.

I just started re-watching the series last night and started at episode one and I just gotta say what a great actor Bryan Cranston is. Just watch the first episode and the little things he does to show how scared and in over his head Walt is and now the arrogance and villainous ways he displays. He really is a great actor. It was like watching two completely different characters. It's amazing how no one respected Walt back then, I almost don't blame him for being on this ego trip. Hell even one of his students caught him working at a car wash. It's funny to see small hints of Heisenberg back then. He basically strong armed and black mailed Jesse into cooking with him.

I think you're right about Declan and Jesse. If Walt says he's out I doubt Declan will press the issue, since his brother in law is DEA. But Walt's dumb ass told him "we got the two best meth cooks in the country" and looked at Jesse, so....
