Lotta yall nikkas are too enamoured with Walt. Yall are falling into Walt's tunnel vision. He has never been able to see the big picture..never in this series. The legacy cost is what keeps them from getting knocked. Yall seen the DEA was closing in on everyone on that list, and yall act like Hank just gives up easily. Yall keep saying that Mike can be easily replaced? By who? Saul dont have reach like that. This meth is getting pushed out much further than New Mexico. Theres not many people that have pull like that.

Here's the thing though.....Jesse and Walt weren't on that list. I doubt any of Gus' people even knew who Jesse and Walt were, so all this extra bullshyt is more about Mike protecting himself.

I do agree that Mike doesn't have much choice in paying those dudes off, but that shyt should have came out of his own pocket, or at the very least MOST of it should have came out of his pocket.

Again we know what the cost is your being too fanboyish of mike . Walt and Jesse don't know if he's telling the truth or playing them we know because we see those scenes .instead mike is bossing up if he wants things to run smoothly him and Walt need to work together . The guy is acting bitter about gus Walt could cook less meth at a time and take much more profit . No one is saying Walt is scarface but mike needs him too

Agree with everything you said, but i think a lot of people are overlooking the operation as a whole.

Im being fanboyish of Mike? :skip:

How can you defend Walt by calling Mike bitter? We all know how Walt is when it comes to him calilng the shots. And i never denied that Mike needs Walt. I think the three of them need each other more than anyone really has acknowledged so far.

Edit: A lot of you are saying that the dudes in the joint dont know Walt and Jesse, this is true, but if Mike gets knocked on some bullshyt, that puts a HUGE dent in their operation.

Walt isn't going to move unless he thinks he can take it over. What he needs is to hook up with that woman with the supply connects and learn about distribution probably with the help of Saul. Once he has that in place he can take out Mike and start killing those dudes in prison.

This makes a lot of sense. Walt is a genius and drug distribution is a piece of cake. Probably the easiest part of being a drug dealer is dealing with the street level activities. All he needs is a couple of drug mules, drivers, and drug dealers. This is a small thing to a giant.

Walt wasn't the same guy then like he is now. He just took out the biggest meth guy in the Southwest with zero (so far) repercussions. His mindset is sociopathic. He rapes his wife and doesnt give a fukk about anyone anymore except maybe his kids. He has fantasies about being Scarface. Dude is emotionally ready to "take the crown" and just needs to work out the logistics, which is why he didn't move on Mike when Mike told him what's up.

Hell if it was that easy Walt wouldn't have needed Jesse...

Pretty much. I got no problem with Walt for the most part, but this overstating of his "genius" is getting out of hand. Whether people see it or not, he and Mike are equals in what they bring to the operation.

Jesse made almost the same quality of Meth Walt does when Gus had him tested and observed by the cartel. He's extremely valuable for increasing the amount of quality meth produced and is loyal to Walt to the point of saving his life when Gus wanted to kill him.

Mike is a threat to Walt but is vulnerable because his crew is in prison and he needs Walt/Jesse to produce the hush money so they don't flip. What that doesn't explain is the players from the fall out of Gus's death like his connections to Gus's distributors, etc. Walt wants power so if he had that woman with the chemicals and learned distribution and had his own muscle, that could make him move on Mike.

Thinking about it, Walt doesn't even need to kill Mike just stand up and intimidate him into being the same Mike that worked with Gus. In order to do that he might have to build his own bodyguard squad and act more like Gus or Tuco by being wild like threatening his Grandchildren if he tries to one-up him again.
