seasons 1 and 2 of BB are amazing.

no they really arent. within the first episode hes already going from teacher to meth cook, its a bit much. he barely even wrestled with the idea, which is just absurd. considering how much theyve stretched out other plots its just downright insulting to my intelligence. finding out your dying changes someone but not THAT quickly.

you all should know better in the Arcadium to not ever have a bad word to say about the "goat" breaking bad :beli:

I've said before that I think its a very good show, but I dont understand how people can put it in their top 10's even :dwillhuh:

First 2 seasons are ASS. Brutal to get through. The wives are beyond annoying.

Series definitely picks up after that with Saul, Mike, and Gus. Season 4 is really great television. Jesse bugs me, but he has some interesting story-lines the past 2 seasons. They cut down Hank's wife's role over time too thank god.

I'll finish the series because I really do like where it has gone since season 2, but I'll never rewatch it :manny:

The stanning for this show amazes me, but maybe I just don't get it.

Can't cosign the Dawsons Creek thing tho :wtf:

Oh word? Totally unrealistic huh? Oh wait....it happened in real life recently:

The real-life Breaking Bad? School teacher with cancer arrested for drug trafficking after he his found with two bag of meth | Mail Online

Let's over look that though. :heh:

Walt barely wrestled with the idea because he thought about it before he was even diagnosed with cancer. Re-watch the scene at his birthday party. The cancer diagnosis was the tipping point.

This is why I can't take you cats seriously. Half you have no idea what you're talking about, and probably play Angry Birds while half-ass watching, then blame it on the show.

It's amazing how all the depressing shows and movies which shows how life/society sucks are always ranked in the top 10 of all time.

I am the complete opposite.

fukk the mainstream...

So much unrealistic shyt happens on this show it made me quit it after the third season.

It's undeniably entertaining, though. After a bunch of people jumped on the bandwagon and started un-mercifully singing it's praises, I decided pick it up from the beginning. Once I through all expectations of reality out the window, I sat back and was thoroughly entertained.

No show I've ever watched has been able to pack a punch with each episode quite like Breaking Bad :whew:

I am in the opposite camp of the above poster. Not here to sing praises of Breaking Bad, or bash it. Its a good show, maybe even great, but not elite.

Also, in the first few seasons, there were actually episodes where literally NO storyline advancement happened. I cant think of another show that happened in. When things happen on Breaking Bad though, its very powerful.

first two seasons are better than any other seasons in the series

see the problem is you guys want 'cool', 'likeable' characters to identify with and fast pace to be entertained. gus and mike are 'cool' to yall while they are pretty much the same ol tired gangster kingpin/muscle pair (well gus is a bit different, but its the same

the wire is the same way, most people on here like season 4 the most because of mike, chris and snoop. theyre 'cool' and just like with artists and athletes, you come to worship them.

the first two seasons of BB are like a good book. sure there are some less realistic scenes like the "this is not meth" , but for every scene like that I can find a scene in your favorite show. I prefer the wire overall, but brother mouzone is a fukking cartoon character, and so are the greeks. and honestly chris and snoop are also pretty borderline there.

most people who can't get through first seasons of breaking bad never read a good novel in their lives. and yes Im pretty confident making this generalization
