This has to be a shockpost/troll thread right
Right?
Right?
The only thing holding back BB was way too many shyt characters.
But there is no question its top 10.
Top 10 is not something to scoff at.
Not a chance in hell it sits above GOT when GOT finishes though. Lemme get that out of the way.
Fred's blood boiling reading that
fred giving GoT propsListen, I'm a fan of "GOT". At face value, it's a great show. I can't really take anything away from it as far as acting, cinematography, writing, etc.
As far as all time conversations though, that can't take place until it's over. Because if the ending or finale sucks it will invalidate a fukk ton of plot threads. Probably moreso than any show in history.
Fred.
I'm on S4 of the shield too. You like it? Honestly its a chore for me to watch might throw in the bushes. Not enjoying it that much. This show does a terrible job of sucking you inThe only thing I agree with in your post is the fact that the finale was non lasting. It was good at first and after a few days kept people talking, but its the last thing to come up during a BB conversation. I have yet to start Sopranos, I think The Wire is GOAT along with BB, and im at the end of season 4 of The Shield (overrated as fukk, has nothing on season 1 of Gang Related but cant stop watching cause of the random ass storylines). I never have or never will watch Game Of Thrones, I could care less about some ole King Arthur and The Knights Of Justice ass setting, shyt does not interest me at all no matter how much internet nerds hype it up. But what the fukk do I know though????????
I agree and give props for your response. We all like to defend our favorite shows. I aint been called Stanning Baratheon for nothing:branelf:Listen, I'm a fan of "GOT". At face value, it's a great show. I can't really take anything away from it as far as acting, cinematography, writing, etc.

My thing with GOT is that it has the best top to bottom cast of incredibly complex, interesting characters being portrayed by sometimes brilliant actors. And I place my faith in a great storyteller like GRRM to finish it right. I think the ending is going to be fairly classic and conventional (just like with Breaking Bad) which is good because BB ended the right way.
I'd argue Boardwalk as well.
A year after the final season it's dawned on me I have very little interest in ever rewatching the series. I think the problem is Breaking Bad's strengths were creating scenarios for it's characters that had you on the edge of your seat wondering how they'd get out of it or what would happen next but once you know the outcome then there's not much incentive to rewatch.
Walt's character arc while interesting is clumsily handled on a number of occasions and way too heavy handed at times.
And for a such a popular show it amazes me how more annoying and unlikeable characters there are. Gus and Mike were the only characters in the show I wouldn't have enjoyed watching their heads get caved in with a fire extinguisher, that includes Walt and Jessie. That's not saying Walt wasn't a compelling character but an annoying one at times all the same.
And let's not even mention that mediocre ass run of the mill finale.
I'm just ranting, brehs. Don't even mind me. I'm sure this thread has been done a million times but I had to get it out, too much stannery going on
Same thing could be said for the Sopranos or were you interested in all of those shytty Carmella, Meadow and AJ storylines like you were for Tony's? Carmella getting her real estate license? Really?
