I hope this brother doesn't lose his job for this cuz they're on his ass. One of the few Black male reporters I see out there not pandering.
He knew the backlash was gonna come, he should be prepared to defend his point.
For example, if I publicly commented on the story, I'd have clips/articles about falsely accused and falsely extorted athletes who were vindicated by the court system.
When Michael Irvin was going through public problems decades ago......some chick decided to cash out and accuse him of rape. ESPN dogged the shyt out of him.....when the liar's story fell apart..Irvin was released.
There's a famous clip (scrubbed from the internet) of Irvin getting released from jail with news cameras all around him....He said "now that you know I'm innocent....repeat THAT story with the same intensity you had when you were dogging me for being a rapist...SAME INTENSITY".
