While that is true, I think more control would be part of a solution. Def not the whole solution.

I want more info about the shooter. Was he mentally ill like most are? How did he have access to the gun(s)? Coward killed himself.

Depends on how they go about the control, there's a lot of people who do legally have guns when they really don't need to be in their hands. Someone did post before we could have much more intricate background checks which will be a great help. A lot of murders like the Renisha McBride killing comes to mind concerning this, not everyone needs to be in possession of a gun. But how do we defend the ones who aren't armed?

I would like to see more info about the shooter to find a trend. There may have been signs that the shooter exhibited that may have been ignored that led up to this.

Usually the news never follows up on the perpetrator and identifies any specific mental illness that the person may have. So who knows what could have been going on with the person mentally.

This really needed to be said. I have personal experience with this. My father had a mental illness, he never hurt anyone around him, just himself because it was hell inside his mind.
