I heard much of the land those buildings are on in that particular area was built on reclaimed marshland. Can anyone in Florida confirm? And if so isn't that type of land considerably porous to begin with?

If the feds are getting involved it’s because there’s a belief the company running the condo did something illegal that played a role in the collapse or ignored information provided that could’ve prevented this. Basically someone’s ass might be going to jail.

This could also be a financial investigation as well. Did they mismanage funds that should’ve been used for maintenance on the building or something along those lines

Also the feds getting involved in what is the worst modern day building collapse disaster in American history shouldn’t be surprising. Buildings don’t just collapse in the United States this isn’t a developing country

Too many wealthy people died in this. You KNOW someone is doing a mandatory life sentence.
