They still haven't found anymore bodies or people alive :francis:.

I would think the Trade Center was hard asf to navigate, they were constantly finding people in the rubble. It's been almost 3 days and they haven't found anybody. This shyt is looking bad.

Breh…I went to the Trade Center multiple times during trips to NYC. The site was like five blocks long. It probably took forever to find people in the rubble. I’m sure they were still finding people years later when the new one was built.

A firsthand eyewitness account collaborates this tweet that it was a sinkhole.

Is this from a reputable source or random person with a twitter account babbling?

Edit: Looking at this chick's past tweets on Twitter i doubt she had any expertise on the matter outside of taking selfies on her balcony in Miami beach and bragging about "traveling" and trying to get attention on twitter.

:ohhh: I was wondering why the prices for houses in the “hood” were selling for so high

They’ve bought houses, torn them down and made expensive condos to prepare for Miami going under

But when I said it was a sinkhole that emotional bit... nvm @jwonder any further comments, questions or concerns that you want add to this?

Can ya'll point to exactly what it is about that tweet that makes is so credible to you guys? Because this does not look like a sinkhole to me at all but i could be wrong. I just feel like you have all these twitter experts chiming in and when you go on their twitter page they have no credentials whatsoever. Thick who retweeted this is some vdiva wanna be trying to get attention. THe dude who's tweet she retweeted just keeps posting random theories about the incident. The one article that mentions sinking didnt mention sinkhole particularly. New Orleans is sinking. No building has collapsed there that we know of. Sinkholes which happen much faster are rare and for whatever reason this doesnt seem like one because i would have expected a huge crater.

Again im no expert just trying to understand why ya'lll believe the sinkhole theory

How nervous and paranoid would you be living in the sister building right now :damn:

Collapsed condo tower’s ‘sister building’ has not been evacuated. That could change

People who live in the ”sister building” of the partially collapsed condo tower in Surfside might be temporarily evacuated out of an abundance of caution, said Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

“It was built at the same time with the same designer, so they are looking at working with them, and I know they are considering potentially evacuating them, but that’s something that ultimately the mayor is going to have to make the call on,” DeSantis said.

“I don’t know if there’s indications that there’s any problems with that building, but just given the similarities, given the same age, they think that that may be something,” he added.

The collapsed Champlain Towers South Condo at 8777 Collins Ave., just north of Miami Beach, was built in 1981 by a group of developers, Champlain Towers South Associates, that included the late philanthropist Nathan Reiber.

About a block away to the north is its slightly smaller sister building, Champlain Towers North Condo, which was built at the same time and is also 12 stories tall.

Eli Budwick, the president of the North Tower’s condo association, has told the building’s manager to hire an engineer to inspect and double-check the building’s safety, according to WSVN.

If North Tower residents are temporarily evacuated, it would be “out of an abundance of caution,” to check the structure’s safety, Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett told NBC6.

CHAMPLAIN TOWERS NORTH EVACUATION OPTIONAL FOR NOW, SURFSIDE MAYOR SAYS
Burkett told the Miami Herald after Saturday’s morning news conference that North tower residents who want to move out because of the tragedy can do so with FEMA assistance.

But the town of Surfside isn’t making anybody move yet.

“There seems to be a consensus that we don’t want to make anybody do anything,” Burkett said. “What we want to do is give them options and make them feel safe. And keep them safe.”

Burkett said the city “will talk to the condo board and make them aware of our concerns.”
