Only the recession in 2008 stopped the gentrification or it would have been in full effect right now. Overtown was first on deck. They were about to run everyone out of there. That club Karu and Y was like the first high class establishment to start it off. There were supposed to be high rise condos and upscale hotels there to follow suit.

The realty in Miami right now is insane. I'd be one the last ones they got out of there if I owned a home there.
