Some of you all just politicized a building collapse. Like the whole of this shythole nation isn't corrupt and crumbling. :mjlol: This place is fast becoming Reddit. Yikes.

New is reporting one dead so far. Which is remarkably low but of course this could change. Still looking at the collapse you would expect at least a few dozen deceased.

America's crumbling infrastructure. Do you ever think about an overpass just falling on top of your car as you pass under it? One day that will happen to someone. Again.

Yep.

Again, this country should've got a plan for infrastructure like yesterday, neither our Democrat nor Republican president did that.

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
NYC has some of the best bed rock in the world. That’s why Manhattan looks the way it looks.

If you live in an old pre war in building in NYC your biggest worry is probably the interior of the building since some landlords don’t take care of them.

been to buildings where I almost tripped from a staircase being lose or parts of the staircase broken.

Another issue gas leaks

Absolutely this.

NYC has the oldest city gas pipelines in America. And by like 10+ years.

ConEd is in no rush to replace it because it costs so much $$, nd creates so much business interruption. Not to mention, they have insurance against these risks, so its almost economical for them just to do nothing and hope for the best.
