Brazil's far-Right election front-runner was accused of setting up a 'criminal network' with big businesses to spread fake news through Whatsapp.

Brazilian media reported that well-heeled supporters of Jair Bolsonaro paid for messaging by third-party agencies, each paying up to 12 million reais ($3.26 million) to spread tens of thousands of attack ads.

Leftist opponent Fernando Haddad, who trails by 18 points, denounced the practice revealed by newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, accusing Mr Bolsonaro of flouting campaign laws by creating "a veritable criminal organisation with businessmen who are using undeclared money to pay for false messages on WhatsApp".

What are the chances of Brazil's Afro ppopulation formenting an armed revolution. Do they have any revolutionary groups like BPP?

Not really, the gangs, even those like Comando Vermelho with left wing origins, aren't really on the political revolution tip, just getting paper and defending territory. Remember Afro-Brazilians classify themselves differently than the US and don't consider themselves universally 'negra' (typical Black) or 'preta' (dark Black) but also pardas 'half' and morenas. Brazil has the contradiction of one of the most in touch with their African roots populations that has never been able to (or allowed) to leverage coordinated political power. If Bolsonaro destroys the racial democracy myth though things could change up pretty quick.

Also FYI, the Blackest part of the country, the northeast, is also the poorest and their economy is still White dominated

Very interesting. Either way if black life is threatened then blacks of the diaspora and the African continent should declare war on the Brazilan government. I know that is wishful thinking, however at this point we need our own vanguard whose willing to protect and defend the livlihood of people of African descent worldwide.
Brazil seems to have very interesting racial dynamics. If anything good comes out of a Bolsonara presidency hopefully it will be a new awakening and identity crisis among those people we'd classify as "black" in South America. Again, wishful thinking.

They really need that instead of futilely trying to bargain for "representation." Afro-Brazilians need to take blue prints from Black Power movement during the late 60s and 70s among AAs.

Agreed. A successful assassination against Bolsonaro would send a direct message not only to right wing populism in Brazil but a message to the other leaders rising across the world.
