I caught the Brazil - Venezuela game this morning and I was not disappointed. As expected, it proved to be a far better game than anything we've seen or will see in the corresponding European championship. European teams are

I would like Argentina to win but Brazil are the obvious favorites.

Will a South American team be favorites to win the next world cup?
Brasil might not be the outright favorite, but they’ll definitely be in the conversation if they continue playing at the level we’ve seen during WCQ.

They’ve looked strong in WCQ, but they have too many question marks to be considered a favorite for the World Cup right now. They really need a good showing in this tournament to be taken seriously.
