hate the pats, but Brady is :gawd:...
in all honesty all(wins/losses) their SB's have been decided by a play or 2 and have been very close.....
He was never a bum statistically he just wasn't putting up dumb numbers like he's putting up now. What changed is that the Pats at that time where a great TEAM that wasn't overly dependent on him. Recently they have been more dependant on him and not as thorough as a team and thusly they haven't won and he's had some playoff struggles. In other words he's become Peyton Manning in Indy.
How many SBs has Manning won without Vinatieri?
Lets not make it seem like he is the main reason for Brady being GAWD like on the field
Elite Manning's bum bro?
I could careless about that nikka :elimad:
Ain't hating on Brady. I even cried after watching his documentary. Brady 6 or something like that. I mean after all, my Giants own him.
first of all the NFL playoffs didnt expand to 12 teams until 1990.... therefore leaving montana, marino, bradshaw, staubach, and kelly at an extreme disadvantage compared to brady, manning, and favre. this causes the stats to be skewed so manning, favre, and brady will obviously have more wins and losses compared to be previous generations of quarterbacks. so for example, donovan mcnabb has more playoff appearences than fran tarkenton, ken stabler, bart starr and johnny unitas. tom brady is 1 loss away from being 5th all time for most playoff losses by a qb despite having a .727 winning percentage. yes manning is less dominant in the playoffs but to say he is 1 loss away from losing the most playoffs games as a qb and therefore is the worst playoff qb of all time is ignorant and ignores basic playoff structure principles... in terms of winning percentage, brady is nowhere near the 9-1 of bart starr and has the same winning percentage as eli manning... Does that make Eli manning on the cusp of being the greatest of all time too? He certainly has a better winning percentage in super bowls which brings me to my next point. Tom Brady is 1 of 7 qbs to lose multiple superbowls. He is trailing montana and bradshaw both of whom went 4-0... much different than the 3-2 of you know who.. And if you wanna play this oh tom brady is only 1 superbowl win away from tying them, 1 appearence from the all time record keep in mind that roethlisberger is 1 superbowl win away from tying brady... so isnt eli manning... and in terms of individual performance because you know, theres other factors that go into playoff victories (rex grossman made it to a superbowl too) brady is not in the top 10 of all time postseason passer ratings and in terms of active qbs is behind mark sanchez, the manning bros, brees, and rodgers.. and no where near the individual passer ratings of bart starr and montana.... for cbs boston to say that no one predicted these postseason records tom brady is closing in on would fall explains why no one who actually follows sports seriously listens to sports talk radio... furthermore, brady is not on the level of montana or starr in terms of a playoff resume, and all these hypothetical "if tom brady wins a another superbowl" is very unlikely considering he hasnt won one in nearly 10 years...yes he is better in the postseason than peyton manning, yes he is better than favre... but to say he is the best of all time is absurd comparing him to the different circumstances of yesterday's NFL and the players that were apart of it.

You always hear OMG 5 SB appearances in 10 years for Brady. Not once have I ever heard anyone pump up Jim Kelly for making 4 SBs in 8 years.
Maybe because he was 0-4...whereas Brady is 3-2...can't really compare the 2....
